FARGO - A Fargo man was arrested early Tuesday after officers used a Taser to subdue him.
The incident began in the 3000 block of 22nd Street South in Fargo when an officer attempted to stop a vehicle, Police Lt. Joel Vettel said.
The vehicle took off at a high rate of speed and disappeared.
The same vehicle was later located at the Wal-Mart at 52nd Avenue and Interstate 94.
The driver, identified by police as Andrew S. Thompson, 39, and a passenger attempted to walk to the store.
Vettel said the passenger complied when ordered to stop, but the driver began to resist officers, who used a Taser to subdue him.
Vettel said Thompson faces a number of charges including DUI, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest.
