Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - NDSU won its 18th straight game this afternoon, but it felt like a loss inside the Fargodome, when starting middle linebacker Grant Olson, who's played all 53 games during his Bison career went down with what appears to be a serious knee injury.

Brock Jensen/13-22, 198 Yds, 3 TD Passes: “He's a big part of the glue if not the biggest our of team it hurts can't find words to say it's really discouraging.”

Christian Dudzik/2 Tackles: “We lost a vital part of our defense that's not to say we're not going to be as good as we were before because Carlton will come in to the mic now.”

Craig Bohl/5-2 Record vs. Illinois State: “Grant has been the most instinctive, brightest football player I've coached in 31 years, to have potentially not be on the field is going to have an impact now we've been really resourceful in the past be resourceful in the future to fill that void.”

NDSU controls its own destiny, win out and they claim the Valley title, but a large challenge awaits possibly without Olson at Youngstown.
