NDSU provost named finalist for Florida chancellor

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota State University provost is one of four finalists for chancellor of the Florida state university system.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota State University provost is one of four finalists for chancellor of the Florida state university system.

Bruce Rafert has been NDSU's provost for more than two years. It is considered the No. 2 position at the school behind the president.

The Forum newspaper reports that Rafert and three other candidates will interview with a search committee on Tuesday.

There are 12 schools in the Florida system.

Rafter is an alumnus of the University of Florida and former professor at the Florida Institute of Technology.
