Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - The Vikings return to primetime TV Thursday night as they'll try to snap a four-game losing skid, facing one of the most elusive quarterbacks around in Robert Griffin III.

RG 3 is just starting to look like the guy who tore apart defenses last season. He's coming back from a knee injury and the Vikes know they'll need to be at their best Thursday night.

Jared Allen- Vikings Defensive End: “Saw him run all over Chicago on film. Denver game he looked good; got to force him into situations when you can't have playbook open, you get him into second or third and short. Try to decipher read option or play action. Going to be a long day for us, so you gotta get him into situations when he's one-dimensional, have a chance to do that: We'll be successful.”

Leslie Frazier- Vikings Head Coach: “To prepare for option football on a short week, it is completely different. They ran for 209 yards just a few days ago; not much comparison in the style of offenses.”

The Vikes are without four starters on defense.

Washington beat Minnesota last season.

7:20 kickoff Thursday night.
