Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A tasty lunch for hundreds Thursday benefited a great cause.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A tasty lunch for hundreds Thursday benefited a great cause.

RDO Caters Taters for Charity is in its 14th year.

The DoubleWood was packed as people lined up for one-pound spuds and all the toppings.

This year, the charity benefiting is "Project Ignite Light."

The Rogers, North Dakota based nonprofit provides a "bag of hope" for physically or sexually abused children across the region.

The bags contain items the children may need when they're removed from a home and placed in shelter.

Pebbles Thompson- Ignite Light: “We help 225 children a month sometimes higher, it is devastating we have to do this but it is a need and we are happy to provide it.”

RDO selects a different charity every year for its event.
