Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Tonight, Moorhead police are looking for a man they say robbed the CVS this afternoon, just south of I-94.
The man didn't display a weapon - but said he had one.
It's the second time in nearly 2 months a Moorhead Pharmacy has been robbed - last time, it was the Walgreens on Main Avenue.
Just after two, it was a sea of officers looking for a man who fled on a bicycle.
Lieutenant Tory Jacobson says the suspect was asking for prescription medications and was able to get away with an undisclosed amount.
Fargo Police's K9 unit was called in to help Moorhead authorities track a scent - after nearly 40 minutes of searching they came up empty handed.
Now surveillance photos are being reviewed in hopes of finding the suspect.
Jacobson explains the scary situation as it unfolded.
Lt. Tory Jacobson/Moorhead Police Department: “Approached the pharmacist from behind the counter and had indicated they wanted some prescriptions. They did ultimately leave with an undisclosed amount.”
The man is described as a white 5 feet 6 inch male with a medium build.
The 20 to 30 year old male was sporting a goatee and last seen wearing a black hat and blue jeans.
Authorities say the public is not in danger.
