St. Paul, MN (WDAY TV) - Speaking of streaks, the Minnesota Wild are on a tear at home, they picked off Calgary last night 5-1 to improve to 7-1-2 at the X and stand just three points out of first in the Central Division, a hot start for a team that needed to start quickly.

Zach Parise/Two Goals Last Night: “We're playing with confidence here, we're expecting to win games, starting to get contributions from everyone, our line was better, that's a good thing.”

Ryan Suter/Wild Defenseman: “We have good confidence right now if we get down we'll fight back in it, don't play a flashy game we play a simple game, benefits us, good structure wise, think we know we're down 1 or 2 have good chance to get back into it.”

Wild start an east coast road swing tomorrow in Washington then Raleigh.
