Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A potential 2016 presidential candidate made an appearance in Fargo Thursday.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A potential 2016 presidential candidate made an appearance in Fargo Thursday.

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush was the keynote speaker for the 2013 Voices of Vision event, held at the Ramada Conference Center.

Bush's speech focused on ways to improve economic growth at the Fargo-Moorhead/West Fargo Chamber of Commerce-hosted luncheon.

Bush listed health care cost, energy policy changes and tax and entitlement reform as some of the ways to improve the US economy.

Jeb Bush- Former Florida Governor: “The best program to lift our spirits is high-sustained economic growth. You all have figured that out and you have embraced the high-growth model and you have achieved great success. You know what the ingredients of that are. You need to make work more worthwhile than non-work.”

NFL Hall of Famer Joe Theismann and Washington Post writer Bob Woodward were past speakers at the event.
