Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - UND hockey fans can breathe easy today, Drake Caggiula took to twitter late last night, to tell fans that he walked out from the hospital under his own power, after landing head first on the ice.

The school confirmed that all tests came back negative.

It was a scary situation, but UND responded well, scoring 3 straight goals the rest of the period, in route to a 4-1 exhibition win.

Something the head coach took notice of.

Dave Hakstol/UND Head Coach: “It puts everything secondary. I thought our guys did a good job of just going back to work. We closed out on a pretty good 2nd period. I give a lot of credit to them; it's not the easiest thing to do as you're going through that experience. So, I give a lot of credit to the young guys on our bench.”
