Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - When NDSU leaves tomorrow for Terre Haute, Indiana, the team will say it's another business trip but the road has been anything but business for the Bison, they've had plenty of fun over the last two years.

“After further review, the ruling on the field stands.”

This is the last time the Bison football team lost a road game, December 2010 at Eastern Washington.

Since then, NDSU has racked up 15 consecutive victories away from Fargo, including two national championships and wins at Minnesota and Kansas State.

Craig Bohl/40-20 Road Record at NDSU: “Our guys have typically not gone on the road and not handled adversity or change; they've been a pretty mature football team.”

This building has become one of the most dominant home fields in college football, the Bison faithful making enough noise to equal that of a jet engine, but ironically it seems NDSU has found better success when they've turned the lights out and left the confines of the Fargodome.

Brock Jensen/NDSU Sr. Quarterback: “I feel less pressure playing away than I do playing at home sometimes, some of our crowd's anxiety, sometimes I feel that, little bit too much.”

Grant Olson/NDSU Sr. Linebacker: “I think it's different than other places, we genuinely enjoy being around each other and spending time together, we grow close as a team and happen to play well, I can't put my finger on what it is.”

Marcus Williams/NDSU Sr. Cornerback: “Some people say they like the road games better, I know I do, you get to focus, and you’re with the guys who you're going to go to war with the next day.”

Jensen: “Not to take away anything away from playing at the Dome, we want to play every game here if we could but yeah it's a fun challenge of going on the road.”

The longest road winning streak in division 1 doesn't belong to the Bison, but Oregon, the Ducks have won 18 in a row.
