Breckenridge, MN (WDAY TV) - Through 4 weeks of the football season, Breckenridge was sitting at 2-2, since then it's been a complete turnaround, the Cowboys have rattled off 4 straight wins, allowing just 13 points in that span in route to a Heart O'Lakes title.

Now as the playoffs start, they're hoping the defensive rise continues.

Aaron Neppl/ Breckenridge Sr. Wide Receiver: “We really came together. Our defense has the last four weeks. We're playing really good defense and our team is really flying around to the ball and everything.”

Chad Fredericksen/Breckenridge Head Coach: “That really sets the bar is how well your defense can play and how you can call the offensive side. The confidence we have, the way we're playing right now, those guys are outstanding. To be able to hold Pelican Rapids like we did last week was just kind of a testament to how hard our kids have been working.”

Here are some of the games we'll be at tonight, which includes Breckenridge as the Cowboys host Wadena-Deer Creek, we'll also be in Barnesville, Frazee, Perham, Fergus Falls and Pelican Rapids on a busy sports night at 10.
