Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - The Vikings are reeling after a second straight terrible performance, this time it was the offense that was not good.

Josh Freeman made his debut for the Purple and it was not good.

Freeman completed 20 of 53 passes for less than 200 yards and an interception.

A majority of Freeman's passes were high, or off his receivers hands as the Vikings drop to 1-5 on the season.

Leslie Frazier – Vikings Head Coach: “His numbers aren't the greatest for sure, but we put together a good plan and it just didn't work out. It seems like there were some opportunities that we missed, one where they had in the grasp and try to make a play and I'm sure he wants back and some other plays that could have been better.”

Josh Freeman – 20-53, 190 Yards, INT: “It's frustrating and disappointing see a lot of areas that manageable and definitely get better just talking with Greg Jennings and all of these plays are just a hair off and they'll start hitting for us.”

Frazier reiterated today that Freeman will be the starter Sunday night against the Packers.
