Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Craig Bohl knows he doesn't need to motivate his senior laden team a whole lot.

Their drive is obvious for this season, but this week, there's a different source of inspiration.

NDSU will take on Indiana State Saturday, the only team that beat the Bison last year.

The Sycamores picked off Brock Jensen three times in that game: Two of them returned for touchdowns and All-American running back Shakir Bell ran all over the top-ranked Bison defense.

Craig Bohl- 4-1 Record vs. Indiana State: “Our guys are very aware in the Valley. To a man, certainly going in and playing a team that was your only blemish off a pretty spectacular year last year; it's going to resonate some. However, I'm not going to bring it up a great deal. Our team recognizes that this is the team that defeated us last year. More than revenge, it's eye-opening to say these guys didn't go to the playoffs. They're very good and they beat us at home.”

Indiana State is struggling this season with just one win. NDSU takes a 15-game road winning streak to Terre Haute.

The latest FCS coach’s poll is out. The Bison receive all 26 first-place votes, Eastern Illinois moves up to second, Coastal Carolina at third, Eastern Washington and Montana State round out the top 5, Youngstown State also now at 12.
