A 71-year-old woman was killed and six people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash near Thompson.
THOMPSON, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 71-year-old woman was killed and six people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash near Thompson.
Authorities say Patricia Griggs, of Reynolds, died in the accident. It happened about 2 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of North Dakota Highway 15 and County Road 5.
The patrol says a van driven by 45-year-old Dan Beauchamp of Grand Forks struck the driver's side door of the victim's car.
Beauchamp was among six people, including four children, treated at a Grand Forks hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
