Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - That old saying it's not how you start it's how you finish, doesn't exactly apply to hockey.
The UND women allowed 2 first period goals to Ohio State Saturday night and weren't able to recover.
4th ranked North Dakota outshot the Buckeyes 37-18, but managed just one goal.
Brian Idalski – UND Head coach: “We got to play sixty minutes. You can’t spot anybody in our league a couple and think that everything is going to work out okay. That’s part of growing up and growing together – is figuring it out. So, we’re still a little inconsistent on our part, but we’re going to get there”
Meghan Dufault – UND Sophomore Forward: “Going down the road, sixty minutes is how you’re going to beat every team in our league. Our division especially, we have a lot of strong teams and anyone can win on every night. So, whoever comes up with a full game is going to win.”
