Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - We're hours away from the 5th annual Fargo Mini Marathon.
Pavement pounders were able to pick up their registration until 8 o clock Friday
About 2,000 people are signed up to run in the mini-marathon, 10k or 5k event.
Runners range from 7 to 8 years of age, all the way up to 80.
New to the event this year, a double blue line 5K, that participants can sign up for after their main events.
Those going the extra 3-point-two miles will get an extra award... but have to decide how to tackle the track after already running a race.
Malynda Kried – Fargo Mini Marathoner "I haven't decided if I'm going to just walk it, or if I'm going to run it because it's going to be cold, or if I'm going to walk-run. I don't know. That'll be a game time decision."
All of the races will start tomorrow at or shortly after 8 in the morning on the south side of the Scheels Arena.
