Troops come home to warm welcome in Fargo

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A trio of North Dakota Air National Guard Airmen returned home to friends and family Thursday.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A trio of North Dakota Air National Guard Airmen returned home to friends and family Thursday.

They followed a group that arrived in Fargo just a week ago.

Master Sergeants Joshua Clarke and Grant Lonski, along with Airman First Class Dan Kelly, all were welcomed home by a crowd of friends and family today.

Veryl and Sheryl Lonski- Father and Mother of Master Sgt. Grant Lonski: "(Laughter) Really emotional, uhh really, uhh, just thank goodness he's back home and stuff, and safe, safe..."

Erik Lonski- Brother of Master Sgt. Grant Lonski: "Just happy to see him… Just happy he can be back with his kids and his wife."

The three men are a part of the North Dakota Air Guard's 119th Security Force Squadron and have been serving in Afghanistan since March.
