Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The Fargo Force return home Friday night, where they'll put their 2-2 record to the test against Des Moines.

It will also be the first time for local hockey fans to congratulate former Moorhead Spud Aaron Herdt on his first USHL goal.

He scored in Fargo's 2-0 win over Muskegon over the weekend. Herdt is the first player from the Metro to play for the Force, and he says it's definitely a change from his games as a Spud.

Aaron Herdt, Force Forward: “Probably that you got to be more mature. It's not a little boy league anymore. It's a big boy league and it's big business and you really have to be mature with quicker decisions that you don't make in high school and your time and space is very limited just be more mature and be smarter.”
