Northern Cass, ND (WDAY TV) - The high school volleyball season has just a couple weeks left in it and a true contender has emerged out of District 2 in Northern Cass.

The Jags have rolled through the season to a 21-3-2 record and are blessed with a tremendous amount of experience. They have eight seniors; six of them are starters and some of them four year starters.

Tom Klapp- Northern Cass Head Coach: “In past years, we get up on some of the big teams in our district and our region. But, then we kind of fall apart a little bit. This year, it's a little different. We really do expect to win. We've lost twice to Casselton, but I really think we'll get them when it counts.”

Vanessa Johnson- Northern Cass Senior OH: “We have big hitters all the way around from our outsides, middles, and our outsides. We're all big hitters. We want to go to state. That's our goal and I really think we can do it. I'm excited.”
