Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - NDSU fans may still be shaking their heads after the two-time defending champs rallied from double digits down in the 4th quarter to beat Northern Iowa on Saturday…

But 4th quarter magic is nothing new to this team. Think back to Kansas State, or even SDSU.

In fact, dominance in the 4th quarter has been a trend for this team...NDSU has not allowed a touchdown in the final frame in its last 10 games going back to last November....

Craig Bohl- NDSU Head Coach: “If you look at what's gone on in the 4th quarter our offense will typically grind people down, doesn't matter if it's Kansas State or Northern Iowa, that helps, if we're able to be up on people changes complexion, they became one dimensional that last drive it's a lot easier playing defensive end when there's no run threat you can just pin your ears back so that's helped.”

To go along with that, NDSU has racked up over 10 minutes of possession time in the 4th quarter the last two weeks.

The latest coaches’ poll has a little shakeup: NDSU no longer a unanimous number one. Towson grabs one first place vote this week; Sam Houston at 3. UNI drops to 5, UND's next opponent

Eastern Washington comes in at 8.
