Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It may have taken a little longer than expected, but the Davies Eagles have finally taken flight.

For the first time in program history, the team has won three games and is ranked in the state polls.

The year didn't start off so well with two losses, but since Jason Thielges' team has rolled off three straight thanks to the Hartness brothers’ combination…

Aiden Hartness- Davies Junior Quarterback (Leads EDC in Passing Yards): “Coming in week to week, I think we expect a lot out of us now with three wins, especially with the scores. That Central and Red River game, we scored over 90 points, which is altogether more than we had last year, so I think we just expect our offense to pick it up and our defense to make big stops for us.”

Tristen Hartness- Davies Junior Wide Receiver (Leads EDC in Receiving Yards): “To be ranked for the first time in Davies program history is a big deal for us. When our seniors were freshmen, they went through a defeated season and coming all the way back now their senior year, they are really proving themselves.”

The brothers are tops in the EDC in passing and receiving.

Davies hosts Devils Lake Friday.
