Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A little rain didn't stop a group of Girl Scouts from finishing up a playground construction project that has been weeks in the making.

Most of the dirty work- assembling the playground, installing new sand barriers, and building a large plastic playhouse was done right way this morning- leaving plenty of time for fun.

But don't be fooled by these smiles, organizers say it was a lot of hard work getting to this point.

Heidi Deplazes, Shelter Fest Organizer: “Probably trying to compromise everything and raising all of the money and getting the stuff, and getting people to do it, but after a while, it all works out.”

The Girl Scouts are using this project towards helping them get their Silver Award-- The highest award a Cadette can earn.
