Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo Police nabbed some of their youngest burglary suspects ever after several overnight garage break-ins in North Fargo.

Authorities say the three juveniles are responsible for a recent rash of burglaries.

There's still clear evidence of early morning garage break-ins along the 800 block of 30th Street North where people say the most alarming part is the suspects' ages; the youngest only 13.

Cameron Battagler- Garage Burglary Victim: “I'm assuming they ripped the board off, saw where the latch was, and just unlocked it.”

It was a long night for Cameron Battagler and his wife after they woke up around 1 Thursday morning realizing their garage had been burglarized.

Battagler: "I didn't actually see anyone; just saw my dog bolting."

Never knowing the thieves also targeted other garages in the area, he quickly called police, who told him this: "Yeah, we got two of them. We're looking for the third one. Thanks for calling"

Cameron later learned the suspects are three teens: Two boys and one girl; ages 13, 14 and 15 who police believe are responsible for not only numerous garage break-ins that same night, but a burglary ring running for the last several months.

Battagler: "We’ve been making sure to keep the doors locked and everything, but we never padlocked the gate. Alas, we will now."

And neighbors say anyone of that age should be home in bed; not breaking into other people's property.

"Young kids being young kids… No matter what, they got busted. They'll hopefully learn quickly."

Police say they're still trying to determine exactly how many burglary cases this group could have committed.
