Three North Dakota schools recognized nationally

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Three North Dakota schools have been recognized nationally for high academic achievement.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Three North Dakota schools have been recognized nationally for high academic achievement.

The state Department of Public Instruction says the William S. Gussner Elementary School in Jamestown, the Edgeley Public School and Wyndmere Elementary School have been named Blue Ribbon Schools.

The federal Education Department has been recognizing schools around the country through the program for more than 30 years. Schools are honored each year at a ceremony in Washington, D.C.
