Moorhead High School participates in "Rachel's Challenge"

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Students at Moorhead High are pledging to combat bullying, by participating in a new program called "Rachel's Challenge"

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Students at Moorhead high are pledging to combat bullying, by participating in a new program called "Rachel's Challenge"

The presentation is popular nationwide but in to Moorhead for this first time thanks to a collaborative effort by the high school and police department.

"Rachel's Challenge" was started by parents who lost their daughter in the horrific shooting at Columbine High School.

They've made it their mission to create a chain reaction in schools across the county of kindness, compassion, and positive character development.

Tanner Tweet- Moorhead High Senior: “It was really a good presentation I thought, meant a lot to some people I think. So it had a good effect.”

Moorhead police department had to secure special funding to bring the program to town.
