A Walhalla, ND, native and prisoner at the Pembina County Correctional Center who escaped custody Thursday was still at large Saturday evening.

34-year-old Glenn Troy Stegman took off running at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday as he was being led back to jail after a bond-reduction hearing.

Stegman isn't considered a threat to the public. He has resisted arrest before, the Pembina County Sheriff's Office said. Stegman has a history of drug-related offenses.

The search for Stegman continues, having been expanded into Walsh County on Friday. Authorities believe he may have stolen an ATV.

Stegman was previously living in Fargo, but was being held at the Pembina County Correctional Center for violations of his probation.

Stegman is described as a white male, 5'11", 210 pounds, hazel eyes, and red hair with a long braided pony tale.

Anyone with information can call the Pembina County Sheriff’s Department at (701) 265-4122.
