Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) – Friday Night we began in downtown Fargo where ESPN has set up shop.
The streets are packed with Bison Fans who want to get a closer look.
And, people are expected to be filling these streets in just hours - to get a coveted spot for tomorrows show.
We are just ten hours from College GameDay hitting the air from right here in Fargo.
And while that's exciting, it might be even more impressive to see what goes into making this work.
From start to finish, about 85 people worked on the GameDay set.
Thousands of people are expected to turn out to the event.
Some fans even hoping to break records.
That's where security comes in.
A private company patrols this set 24 hours a day.
Security wouldn't tell us how many men they have staffed but they admit it's a long and grueling process.
Friday Night, we talked to fans, who are ready to show their NDSU pride.
Disco Inferno- Bison Fan: "I expect there to be a lot of people. I think it's going to be a great atmosphere, a lot of fun. I recommend coming out."
There are two pits behind me designed to hold several hundred people.
But if you want to get a good spot, you'll want to get here early.
The show kicks off at 8 a.m.
