Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It takes a small army to bring a show of GameDay caliber to the Red River Valley.

College football. It's a game of numbers and statistics and intangibles. And the same happens to hold true for ESPN College GameDay.

Let's start with the numbers.

Kristin Gates works in the American Federal Bank building... with a bird's eye view of the entire setup.

Kristin Gates- Works across the street: "How many vehicles do you think they've brought in?" "Oh, 67, about."

Believe it or not, according to ESPN, it only took 11 vehicles to bring GameDay to Fargo.

A low number compared to the general consensus on the street.

JT Froning-Bison Fan: "I predict GameDay brings in 37 vehicles."

Brian Saxered- Bison Fan: "Pretty high, on the high end I would assume."

A few other surprising numbers for you: Around 85 people will have worked on the set by the time it's all said and done and it took eleven hours make the stage TV ready.

A few important numbers for those planning to go out to the event are "2" and "500".

Two designated pit areas have been set up for fans. One more than customary for GameDay.

Each pit holds up to 500 Bison faithful.

The rest of the crowd will have to fill in around the outside of the set.

But, at least two Bison fans... can check off getting up close and personal from their list thanks to an impromptu meet and greet with ESPN personalities Tom Rinaldi and Kirk Herbstreit.

Froning: "Of course, he's like, 'You don't need my autograph, Kirk's still on stage.' 'No, Tom Rinaldi, I need your autograph too, buddy.' So, I got his and Kirk came down."

And that's the type of run in you can file under the intangible when it comes to GameDay experiences.

Two more numbers for you, GameDay's broadcast runs from 8 in the morning tomorrow until 11 in the morning.
