Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The cost of farmland keeps going up.
A new report shows the average value of farm real estate in North Dakota is at $1,690 per acre.
That's a 36% increase over last year. North Dakota saw the biggest jump in farmland value in the U.S.
However, Iowa reported the highest value of land at $8,400 an acre.
The study was conducted in June by the US Department of Agriculture.
