Suspect in Dickinson hit-and-run pleads not guilty

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — A man accused of being behind the wheel in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Dickinson has now pleaded not guilty to both charges against him.

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — A man accused of being behind the wheel in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Dickinson has now pleaded not guilty to both charges against him.

Forty-seven-year-old Timothy Menges is charged with negligent homicide and leaving the scene of an accident involving death. He entered his not guilty plea to the first charge in April and to the second charge on Monday. He could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

Menges is accused of driving drunk last November, and striking and killing 47-year-old Tracy Freer in a motel parking lot.
