Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A local charity helping families dealing with brain cancer is throwing its annual bash Friday night.
Pray for Gray will host the 5th Annual Dinner, silent auction and dance. It will be held at the Fargo Civic's Centennial Hall, this Friday night starting at 6 PM.
Julie Fletcher started the Pray for Gray foundation after a terrible brain cancer diagnosis in 2007. After beating all odds from doctors, she is doing fine today and in charge of a foundation that helps local families dealing with brain cancer.
Cliff and Lori Enns are being honored at the gala. Lori has been battling stage four brain cancer for a year, months longer than any doctor predicted. She is doing well right now on a new drug.
Cliff Enns - Lori’s Husband: “There's so much new coming out. I just read the other day, the last four years we've seen more advancement in brain cancer than we've seen 18 years prior. It's developing at a pace that's keeping her alive. We can stay ahead of it - that's the goal, you know.”
The proceeds from Friday night's gala go to research and expenses local families incur during treatment.
