Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Metro COG is calling on you to help prepare the city's transportation systems for generations to come.
This is one of three kick-off events for "Metro 2040." It's an all-inclusive plan to improve transportation in the metro area for the year 2040; whether it’s by car, bus, biking or walking.
You can see the poker chips in this video. During these summits, Metro COG is giving you money and asking how you'd spend it.
Wade Kline- Executive Director, Metro COG: “We need their input on guidance so we know where we should be spending those dollars because there are a number of choices we can make going forward. You talk about interstates, Red River bridges; do we need more bike lanes or buses? We need to know from the public because we only have so much money.”
There are two more of these input meetings tomorrow. The first is in the morning at Fargo City Commission Chambers from 8 to 10:30. The other is tomorrow night at West Fargo City Commission Chambers from 6 to 8:30.
