Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Fargo woman is getting a head start on October Breast Cancer Awareness Month by sharing her story.
Cynthia Eggl never thought she would write a book, but now hopes to inspire others through her journey.
Eggl was diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer in 2011, despite having regular exams and mammograms that failed to catch it in its early stages.
She published "Boundless Blessings and God's Grace" in December.
Cynthia Eggl- Breast Cancer Survivor: "It's written from a perspective of hope and looking to the future, trying to stay focused on the future and just walking on the path that sometimes you are challenged to do."
Eggl is hosting a book signing on Thursday at the James Carlson Library at 6:30 p.m.
