Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The Bison football team is looking untouchable early in the year.
The Bison fans definitely aren't slowing down. There's tailgating, and then there's extreme tailgating.
I'm standing here with the Rolling Thunder and Tom Boyer and his crew. What is the Rolling Thunder?
Tom Boyer- Bison Fan: “The Rolling Thunder is a bus we've refurbished to have a lot of fun here tailgating, but the bigger issue is ‘What's the Bison Nation all about?’ Look around you; you've got about 10,000 people within a quarter-mile having fun and enjoying each other and about to witness a butt-kicking there in the Dome. And afterwards, we're going to celebrate."
And I think the biggest question here is: Are you ready for some Bison football?
These guys say tailgating is what they do best; from the grill, the music, the food and, of course, drinks. It's all top-notch.
And like Tom was saying, Rolling Thunder itself was originally a Hawley School bus.
But now, it's transformed into the Bison Bus, fully equipped with NDSU gear and most importantly, ready to roll into a new season.
Lora Petermann- Bison Fan: "It's just been so exciting. The win last week just got everyone excited. It's bison territory."
