Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- There's no doubt thousands of teenage girls were thrilled when they found out they were going to the Taylor Swift concert Friday night.
The family flew 16 hours, one way to catch the concert. It wasn't for a birthday, or graduation gift. As this 15 year-old said, it's because she's one of Taylor's biggest fans.
It was over a month ago when Camila first learned she'd soon be hearing Swift's lyrics up close and personal.
"Alright, promise me you won't scream. I was like no, but tell me and what he said, we are going to Fargo to see Taylor and I started crying and shaking. And it was awesome."
And the fact her father booked a flight across the continent for a two day stop.
"Yeah, he's crazy. But, I'm so happy about it."
When we asked him why...
"It's a long story."
More like a **love story** because when Diego wanted to take his daughter to her see her favorite singer, there were only two places NOT sold out.
"Fargo and Nashville I think. Or something like that."
But he was bound and determined to get her a seat. And he did. 2nd Row - right behind VIP. And two tickets to North Dakota.
"We say in Argentina, yeah we are going to Fargo. Where?"
Camilia said it was hard to believe at first. Even after she told all of her friends.
"They thought I was kidding. Like, they didn't believe I was going to Fargo just to see Taylor."
The quick trip only last a couple of days. Then it's back to school on Monday. But Diego and Camila say it's all about making the most of it.
"Memories I can share with my friends and family."
We searched flights from Argentina to Fargo. It costs about $1,600 per person. That's not including the price of Swift tickets.
