Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Taylor Swift is in town for a much-anticipated concert. It's been been sold out for months. But some fans took their chances, waiting until the last minute… and got lucky.

These two big Taylor Swift fans were bummed that they didn't have tickets to the big concert.

That all changed this morning.

Heather: "I am just really excited and happy that I get to see her!"

Tracy: "I like all of her songs!"

Mary Young and her daughters are from Missouri, in town for a couple months while dad works on a construction project.

Mary: "We only found out a few days ago that she was going to be here."

The show sold out within the hour after tickets went on sale back in December… drawing long lines at the Fargodome box office.

But the day of the show, the Fargodome opened up some additional seating.

So, Mary and the girls got up early to get their hands on them.

Mary: "I told them today that we weren't guaranteed to get tickets, but when we walked in we only saw one person there so they were like, 'we're going to get them!'"

For NDSU student Tyler Loch, waiting until the last minute paid off.

Tyler: "Honestly, I had no intention of going to Taylor Swift today, but my girlfriend's birthday is coming up so I thought hey, that would be a cool birthday present."

And it should be a sweet surprise: he scored great seats after two people gave up their tickets.

Tyler: "She said six rows up on the side."

Last-minute tickets sold for about seventy dollars, but for a parent, seeing this smile is priceless.

Heather: "I'm just really excited!"
