Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Just across the street, the preparation is underway for the home opener for the Bison as they welcome Division 2 school Ferris State on Saturday, the first non-D1 team NDSU will play since 2006.

This will be a return for two players for the Bison, Leevon Perry and Colten Heagle. Each missed significant time last year with knee injuries, Heagle played last week at Kansas State, while Perry was suspended for the game and says he's ready to hit somebody.

Leevon Perry – NDSU Senior Defensive Tackle: “It's been a long time, haven't hit anyone in a long time, that'll be fun, being back running around is a good thing, 100 percent feel confident, frustrating didn't want to end junior year like that, but give me a chance to sit back and watch my team go to work.”

Colten Heagle – NDSU Junior Strong Safety: “This will be my 1st game back at the dome and his first game back playing and just first game for the home opener will be exciting for us will be fun.”
