FARGO – About 3,300 customers here are without power tonight.
Xcel Spokesman Mark Nisbet said crews are on the way to begin repairs that are expected to take about an hour.
Xcel Energy stated that about 3,346 customers are without power. The outage area is primarily in south Fargo.
The cause of the outage was not known, Nisbet said but he suspects the outage may be the result of a blown transformer.
Temperatures have hovered above 90 degrees for most of the day.
