Bottineau Man Pleads Guilty to Assaulting, Resisting Officer

A Bottineau, ND, man has plead guilty to assaulting and resisting a federal officer.
Authorities say Christopher A. Faulk, Jr, 30, resisted as he was being arrested for a dispute on the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation on November 18, 2010.
Authorities say as Faulk was being arrested and placed in the back of a patrol vehicle, he resisted and kicked the arresting officer.
Faulk could be sentenced to a maximum of eight years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
Faulk's sentencing is scheduled for July 25 at the United States District Court in Minot at 1:30 p.m.
