Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - In hot, dry weather like this it may seem impossible to keep your lawns and gardens hydrated.
Experts say watering is still key to having a green lawn this time of year. Even though the water evaporates quickly, you should still do it every other day. Watering late at night or early morning produces the best results. That way your lawn won't completely burn off and need re-seeding come spring time.
Mike Svaleson - Turf Tamers Owner: "Keeping plants alive, the grass alive, being able to do the chemical applications without burning up yards and we haven't had any rain in it seems like months."
West Fargo has even issued a lawn watering ban.
