Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - NDSU offered a first look inside the renovation project at Minard Hall. The $18 million project began in the spring of 2009 after part of the building collapsed during renovations.

The building, originally built in 1901, now has modern updates; things like wireless access points, white boards, and projectors. The building also has energy-saving motion activated lights.

Mike Ellingson - Director or Facilities: "We added about 30,000 square feet, and with our growth it was definitely space that we needed. Surprisingly, over 4 years some of these vacant offices have now been filled with additional faculty with our growth."

A dedication will be held October 12th as part of NDSU's Homecoming.
