Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) If you haven't heard what happened last night at Fenway Park involving Alex Rodriguez, you might be living under a rock.

In the second inning, Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster threw three straight pitches inside before finally landing one on A-Rod.

Obviously, the speculation is that it was intentional, knowing that Rodriguez is facing a 200-plus game suspension.

Yankees manager Joe Girardi was irate that both sides were given warnings.

A-Rod got the last laugh in the sixth, hitting a home run off Dempster.

The Yankees won 9-6, and afterward plenty of talking going on.

Alex Rodriguez- Yankees 3rd Basemen- ESPN: "It was just a little bit odd. It was a weird situation there, but the game has a way of policing itself. Our guys are fired up. And everyone of those guys came up to me and said hit a bomb and walk it off."

Ryan Dempster- Red Sox Pitcher- MLB: "I was just trying to pitch him inside. It was a sinker down and in."

JG: "Ryan Dempster has hit six guys in the last 320 innings. At some point, Brian Orr has to give him a warning. He should have thrown him out of the game, that's the bottom line."

"Do you think he should be suspended?"

Rodriquez: "Who?"

"Ryan."

Rodriquez: "I'm the wrong guy to be asking about suspensions, holy mackerel."
