Bison football team holds annual media day event

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota State is unveiling the team that will take a run at a third straight Football Championship Subdivision title.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota State is unveiling the team that will take a run at a third straight Football Championship Subdivision title.

The Bison are holding their annual media day festivities Friday afternoon at the Fargodome. Their first game is Sept. 30 at Kansas State.

Coach Craig Bohl's team compiled a 14-1 record last year en route to their second consecutive FCS crown. The Bison defeated Sam Houston State in the championship game.

NDSU returns 18 starters from a year ago.

The Bison are the preseason No. 1 pick in national rankings and the unanimous pick to repeat as Missouri Valley Football Conference champions in a poll of coaches and media members.
