Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - More than 800 cars lined Sheyenne Street for West Fargo Cruise Night Thursday night - and there was one that really stopped traffic.
Vehicles of all kinds packed Sheyenne Street for West Fargo's third Cruise Night of the year, and people also packed in to take a look. Many passers-by stopped in their tracks when they saw one car.
Roger Paradis - Car Collector: "There are a lot of people that just notice it being a nice hot rod, other than it being a Boyd Coddington. That's the special part of it."
This 1932 Ford Boydster 2 was built in 2005 by Boyd Coddington. Coddington was a hot-rod designer and star of the reality show American Hot Rod. He died in 2008.
Roger Paradis: "Boyd Coddington is one of the main builders of hot-rods, and this is one of his creations of hot-rods, The Boydster II."
Roger Paradis brought the Boydster from his home in Brooks, Minnesota. It is exactly the type of eye-catching car Cruise Night hopes to bring in.
Mike Wheeler - Moorhead Resident: "It's just a lot of fun to see everything that's out here, the new cars, the old cars, the ones that are worth a lot of money, the ones that aren't worth a lot of money."
Mike Wheeler is a member of the local Corvette Club. He says it is easy to see why this car created so much buzz.
Mike Wheeler: "It's something that you would never see normally anywhere. I mean, it's a special, one-of-a-kind vehicle."
The next Cruise Night is September 19th.
