Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It will be a little easier for needy kids at local schools to buy milk, thanks to the second year of a local charity organized by an 11 year-old girl.

Haley Dellaneva and her family presented the Fargo, West Fargo, and Moorhead school districts with $5,000 each at West Fargo Cruise Night. The money was raised through Haley's Milk Run, a bike run in June. They exceeded their $14,000 goal, bringing in just over $15,000.

Paul Dellaneva says despite some extra funding from government programs, schools in the area can use the help.

Paul Dellaneva - Haley's Father: "We're still quite short in our area. So, the 3 school districts could really use $5,000 each."

Haley Dellaneva - Haley’s Milk Run: "Feeling good, I guess, and helpful to people."

Next year they hope to raise $20,000.
