Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The Clay County Sheriffs Office helped out in the chase. Then had one of its own early this morning.

Authorities say 21-year-old Jarrad Hogan failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of 50th Avenue and 40th Street South around 2:40 this morning. He led deputies down gravel roads through the county reaching speeds close to 100 miles per hour.

Authorities say Hogan drove through several fields and eventually hit a bank, disabling his vehicle. He then got out of his car and ran. He was arrested at gunpoint and taken to the hospital for injuries.

Bill Bergquist - Clay County Sheriff: "You know, when people do this they're taking a lot of people's lives at danger. I guess the best part about this is that at that time of night, there was absolutely no other vehicles in the area."

Bergquist says Hogan was wanted on another warrant, and now faces a number of charges.
