Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A small town EMT service is looking to gain employees by offering a training course.

The course is being offered by the Ringdahl Ambulance Service out of Fergus Falls. The purpose is to recruit part time and full time workers. People attending will learn how to evaluate patients, check heart rates, and blood pressure.

Officials say there is always a need for part time workers. The department helps out during disaster situations, so officials say it's always better to have more staff.

Randy Fischer - Operations Director: "We try and build up our resources here so that we have enough people to not only cover our service area for the ambulance, but also to go out on disaster assignments."

The course starts September 5th. If you're interested, contact Ringdahl Ambulance Service
