Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV)-- Police say a Moorhead man has been arrested in Fargo for his ties to what they suspect are "numerous burglaries" throughout the region.

Police say 31-year-old Zachariah Grotberg lived in a home in Moorhead at 1411 9th avenue south.

They conducted a search warrant on Grotberg's home last week and found thousands of dollars in tools, electronics, furniture and appliances.

Police say the items were stolen from the Fargo-Moorhead, Jamestown and Grand Forks areas.

LT. Tory Jacobson- Moorhead Police Department: "Certainly it's a number of areas that are effected by these burglaries, we've had an uptick in our burglaries locally as well as Fargo and you know we've recovered some of the property that we can identify locally here and we anticipate that we'll have charges in the future."

Police say Grotberg is currently being held on separate charges in Rugby, North Dakota and that more arrests in this theft case are possible.
