Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- What college student doesn't take a waitress or server job sometime during their stint in school.
But for MSUM student, Holly Kaderlik, her summer job at Rhombus Guys in Fargo just got very memorable. A customer tipped Holly $500.00 dollars.
It's a lot of money, but then again, there is a lot to the story behind the tip.
When Aaron Collins of of Kentucky died a year ago, his brother Seth found a unique way to honor him. Travel the United States, eat pizza, and tip. Tip the waitress big time. And so, as documented in his ongoing across America, Seth made a stop here in Fargo this week specifically, Rhombus Guys pizza. The roof top, where Holly Kaderlik happened to be working.
You know it is really rewarding, it has been overwhelming at times, other times, it has been a wonderful experience start to finish."
A year ago, my brother passed away.
After the meal Seth, true to his brother's memory, made the donation.
"Here is $500.00 dollars."
A tip for the waitress. $500.00 dollars.
"What, oh my God. No, no."
Seth Collins- Left $500.00 Dollar Tip: "Holly was out of town today, but said she will use the money to pay bills, and says she expects to pay it forward herself.
"I was moved by her reaction, one of the best of the trip."
Seth knows his brother, once a pizza maker, would approve.
"I am thrilled to keep doing this and honoring him and his legacy."
Today, Seth made someone's day in Billings. Rapid City tomorrow. That will be the 14th state. And on he will go, remembering a brother by making things like this happen.
