Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Tasty treats are helping make miracles happen today. Dairy Queen is holding its annual Miracle Treat Day.
One dollar or more from each blizzard sold will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network. All DQ locations in the F-M area are participating.
Today, the Sanford Children's Hospital 2013 Children's Miracle Network champion Jared Heuer helped make blizzards. Funds raised previously allowed Sanford to buy life saving equipment that helped Jared recover from an ATV accident.
Nicholle Heuer - Jared's Mom: "Special event that people around can help with and help the children, because it impacts tons of children and we're very grateful to be a part of this."
Dairy Queen is one of the top donors to the Children's Miracle Network, raising over $97 million since 1984.
